Since 2004, has created a way to support customers with freelance human resources. Currently, provides consulting services to customers, mainly industrial companies, with freelance human resources by providing the right person for the right place.

    Joined Sevenzen in 2004 after working for a domestic manufacturing SI and a foreign-affiliated consulting company. Focusing on consulting in the IT field in general, supports large-scale company-wide projects and supports various projects as the leader of development and maintenance business. Recently, is providing support for major financial industries on the theme of utilizing and establishing technologies such as cloud computing.

    Ryoichi Kawasumi

    After working for a foreign-affiliated consulting company, joined Sevenzen in 2012. Has consulting experience in business reform and ERP / business system construction in various industries such as manufacturing, trading companies, and apparel. Most recently, has been providing support on the theme of manufacturing and distribution cost optimization by utilizing supply chain optimization tools.

7 Zen Businesses

  • 2002

    On September 27, 2002, I set up SevenZen Consulting Limited in an apartment room.

    I've decided on “SevenZen” with the goal of developing more than seven “Zen” businesses to provide services which our customers could consider “Good”.

Consulting Business & Freelance

  • First, we started a consulting business by outsourcing from a foreign-affiliated consulting company. Thanks to our customers becoming aware that we are an organization that is fully committed to providing “Good” proposals and activities, our number of customers has increased little by little.

  • 2004

    By becoming a public company in 2004, and creating a network of freelance consultants/engineers, we were able to start providing the right people to the right place.

Expansion of
“Zen” Services

  • 2013

    In addition to the consulting industry, what kinds of “Zen” services can we offer? With the goal of making all employees become entrepreneurs also able to develop “Zen” businesses, in 2013 we changed our name to “SevenZen Corporation”.

  • 2014

    In 2014, we brought “LLamasoft”, a Supply Chain Design software from the US to Japan, and began using it in our supply chain area consulting services.

  • 2016

    In 2016, in order to answer to the translation needs generated at the project site of companies expanding overseas, we launched a business translation service.

Support Freelancers

  • 2017

    In 2017, we released “Patio”, a site to communicate with freelancers. Supporting freelancers, we worked together and strengthened our activities as a growing company.

  • 2021

    In 2021 in commemoration of our 20th anniversary, we renewed our corporate logo.

    We will do our utmost to support the active role of freelancers so that they can alleviate the human resource shortages in companies and society and become the piece that will change the social structure.
    We’ve been walking this path for 20 years with the support of customer, freelancers, and families we’ve met through our work.
    Going forward, we will continue to do our utmost to engage in activities that we believe to be “good” and provide satisfaction to our customers and families.
